Situated on the outskirts of Northwich these huge mere is reported to hold vast bream shoals as well as a sprinkling of carp.  The margins of this mere are really shallow with a bank fished pole at 13metres only finding a foot or so of water.  there is a drop off rumoured to be around 30 metres out where you need to be to get the bream.  I would recommend anyone visiting this venue to pack a heavy feader rod and wading gear as both are essential.
